Before you make huge tectonic shifts in your life and generate massive momentum, you’ve gotta stack some small wins.
This concept has been around for a while but few people seem to put it into practice.
By “small wins” I simply mean the completion of tasks that add up throughout the day, generating energy and aligning you in the right direction.
For me, the wins start FIRST THING IN THE MORNING when I’m in a half-sleep state.
As soon as I experience that first drip of consciousness, that first waking light.
Know what I do? I seize it and grip it with the full strength of my willpower.
Aggressive, yes. But necessary.
That first-moment-waking willpower is one of the most vital attributes you can level up in the RPG of life.
Most people who are spiritual skeletons are weakest in this intermediary state of waking and sleeping. That should tell you something. It should tell you that there is immense power in this space. There is metaphysical significance to this space.
It should not be ignored. It should be explored. And leveraged.
First thing in the morning is the purest, most potent “make or break moment” you experience in a 24 hour period of time. Do not squander it. Those who squander and snooze and immediately start procrastinating are destined to fail.
I’m not just speaking as a “hustle grindset” guy who insists you get up and start trading crypto and cold calling randoms for sales. It’s so much deeper than money and “success” in the sense that we’ve been taught since birth. Money isn’t the goal here, but it is a side effect of seizing the first waking moment.
This truth is something I’ve always known intuitively, but didn’t implement in my life until recently, and not soon enough.
I’ve learned that rising from bed and moving is a massive, supercharged punch in the face of your demons when they least expect it. This is a surprise attack on those demons who have been waiting ALL NIGHT to jump out and ambush you at your most vulnerable state.
This is straight-up spiritual kung fu. This is one of the most powerful tools in your tool kit. So learn it. Master it. Make it part of your arsenal.
Don’t brush this one off! It’s far more important than it seems on the surface. It’s far more than just a small win – it sets the tone for everything you do.
So, tomorrow, when you find yourself in that woozy/trippy state between sleep and waking, you know what to do.
No second-guessing, no rationalization. No waiting, no debating. UP AND AT ‘EM!!
Peace and Prosperity,
CJ
